The Mystery of Fillmore’s Fourth Dimension

“As perfect ideas and life and substance are realized in consciousness, they will be expressed, and the same spiritual conditions will exist in manifestation that are found in the mind. This is the redemption of the body, raising beyond the three-dimensional realm where it functions under the physical laws into the fourth dimension, namely realization, or realm of the Divine Mind. This realization is the knowing and feeling the Presence of God active in us”. (Fillmore Wings, Lesson 12, The Word, paragraph 38).
Fillmore goes on to explain in Keep a True Lent, that is not a place consistent with time and space but rather a personal “state of being“, a state of realization, a state of heaven where one’s thoughts blend with Divine Mind (p. 170). The human mind, which resides in the third dimension, is limited by intellect and understanding and bound by the senses and spatial awareness. Through prayer and silence, one is able to invoke the aid of our Christ consciousness to bring forth this demonstration of pure being and pure Oneness with the Divine.
Unity teacher, Ed Rabel, has identified Jesus as a fourth dimensional being in several places (Metaphysics, Gospel Mysteries). But I would argue Jesus was of an even higher frequency. Jesus, our Way Shower, came to teach us our potentiality to reach a dimension of complete alignment with the Father, a state of consciousness and ultimately, a state of being. It is within the domain of the fourth dimension that we are able to clearly discern with clarity the Absolute spiritual laws of Truth and Reality.
During our vibrant Fillmore Wings discussion this past Tuesday, I initially felt lost and isolated from the fourth dimension. I believe I feel God’s presence and Oneness; I ascribe to knowing the Truth of spiritual laws but can I say beyond doubt that I am experiencing spiritual illumination? It is with gratitude that I acknowledge Dara and Marty for their grace filled answers to my question. Yes, we are constantly in the fourth dimension but we may not always be receptive, aware or open to this vastness of energy, pure light and pure substance. It a personal journey and one must decide for themselves the realization of one’s indwelling “kingdom”.
Once again, I was stimulated and curious to continue my study and was led to Glenn Clark’s book God’s Reach. I am ready to dive into his dissertation on the 7 dimensions of spiritual evolution. In the meantime, I will continue affirming the teachings of Jesus. “Show us the way,” is what the disciples demanded of Jesus, and he replied, “I am the Way.” Jesus is the perfect Pattern. (Clark, 1951). I will put myself in alignment with Christ Consciousness and I will be in alignment with all-truth, all-love, all-life.
