The Creative Power of Logos

Fillmore Wings is the gift that keeps on giving! Our Tuesday Morning study group investigated the metaphysical understanding of how all things were created by the Logos - the Word of God - as the First Cause of the Universe. God said, “let there be light; and there was light” (Genesis 1:3). God commands his ideals to become manifested in our visible universe, demonstrating the creative power of His Word.

We are the offspring of Divine Mind, spiritual beings created and brought into expression, we embody all of His attributes and qualities, made in his image. God’s nature is to pull us towards goodness; this is our evolutionary process as we become the second cause of creation. Paraphrasing Charles Fillmore, through our creation we are linked with God Mind through the unfolding of our Christ consciousness. Just as the acorn embodies the attributes of the mighty oak tree, it is still necessary for the acorn to participate in the process and find fertile ground so it can become the true nature of the parent tree. We are now carrying out the creative process as we stand in the truth that it is through “Christ Mind that all ideas come to us and is our conduit to God Mind” (Charles Fillmore, Prosperity. Unity Village: Unity Books, 1936 p.74)

We must see ourselves as God’s ideal of man. Doing so affirms our mission to manifest that which has been within us from the beginning and becomes the demonstration of spiritual expression for others. We are more than just onlookers in the visible realm. We are called to pay attention to our conscious and subconscious states of mind, deny any limitations or errors in thinking that keep us in bondage to the flesh, and see our states of conscious as fertile ground for spiritual unfoldment and freedom. Fillmore Wings is the manifestation of consciousness, giving rise to a sanctuary for fellowship and unity. Together, our spirit led discussions water and feed our souls, one seed at a time.
