Metaphysical meaning of Bealiah (mbd)
Bealiah, be-a-h'-ah (Heb.)--whose l or d is Jehovah; Jehovah is Lord; Jah is Lord; Baal Jehovah; Jehovah is Baal.
One of the men who "came to David to Ziklag" (I Chron. 12: 5); a Benjamite.
Meta. Fallows says that the names of Baal and Jah are both contained in the name Bealiah. This denotes both the inner and the outer, the inner spiritual man Jehovah, or Christ, and the outer formed creation. Each is all right in its place. The outer formed world of phenomena, however, should be understood in its relation to the underlying Cause of all existence and should not be worshiped; that is, it should not be looked upon as the real and as the source. When the true Jehovah is understood and worshiped the Christ Spirit becomes expressed throughout every phase of creation, of the formed and manifest world as well as of invisible Spirit. The name Bealiah signifies putting Jehovah in His rightful place as Lord or ruler of the manifest; also it signifies the superiority of Jehovah over the material ideas (gods and idols) that have been given so great a place in man's consciousness (Jehovah is Lord).
