ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
It is my pleasure to express my heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Frances Ruhtenberg for her prodigious efforts in preparing this material for publication; to the members of the Board of Directors and the Building Committee for their consecrated counsel and aid in creating the visible Golden Pyramid; to the members and friends of Unity whose gifts and investments supported the effort; to Rapp-Tackett-Fash, architects; to LaMans Construction Company; and to the hardhats, beards, and blue-jeans who actually put it all together.

The Destiny of the Golden Pyramid
The Golden Pyramid is a state of consciousness, far more than it is a building of wood and brick, aluminum and steel. It is a thought being made manifest, the Word being made flesh. It is Truth teaching itself through the medium of architecture. Since it is a thought, and you a thinker, you can enter the Golden Pyramid at any time, any where. By thinking your way earnestly into the thoughts that compose it, you have taken yourself into its only reality.
Karma in the Golden Pyramid
KARMA IN THE GOLDEN PYRAMID
It is with considerable hesitation that I include this chapter, inasmuch as the data incorporated is in many cases intensely personal. The truth is, though, that all who have supported the erection of this New Age Temple, even if only with the enthusiasm of their thought, have played a part in the resolving of certain karmic situations in their lives and in my own. I give thanks to you and to God, because your support has been essential to the resolution of certain difficulties which have been building through many lifetimes.
The Energy of the Pyramid
For most readers of this book, it would be redundant to recount the details of Dr. Bovis's mummified cats, the razor-sharpening techniques of Dr. Drbal, or the vegetarianization of Dr. Flanagan's cat. Suffice it to say that there is a growing body of evidence, accumulated under scientifically controlled conditions, to indicate that the pyramid shape itself has the peculiar ability to alter behavorial patterns, even at the cell level. Those who wish to evaluate this evidence for themselves are referred to the works named in the preceding chapter.
Strength In Numbers
STRENGTH IN NUMBERS
Whenever a man converts his thoughts into external actions, he is immediately involved with numbers, whether his numbers are concerned with horsepower, decibels, stock units, pounds, inches, or cash-flow. One can only transform the hidden energy of the mind into material forms through some involvement with numbers. We must concur with Pythagoras who said, "When God creates, God geometrizes."
Initiation in the Pyramid
INITIATION IN THE PYRAMID
The death-wish, uncovered by Freud, has been an enigma to students of the mind. Mounting numbers of suicides in affluent societies indicate, however, that the life-wish is an equally imposing enigma to a great many people. Only in recent times have psychologists articulated the idea, intuitively perceived by adepts of the Ancient Wisdom, that both the death-wish and the life-wish are normal desires, and that it is the tension between the two that allows the creative process of life to proceed.
