Metaphysical meaning of Hananel (mbd)
Hananel (A.V., Hananeel), ha-nan'-el (Heb.)--God has graciously given; God is gracious; favored of God; God's mercifulness; given of God.
A tower on the wall of Jerusalem, and forming a portion of the wall (Neh. 3:1; Jer. 31:38).
Meta. The thought of mercy, and of the omnipotence of spiritual qualities, as belonging to man and established in his body consciousness through prayer and high spiritual aspirations.
