Metaphysical meaning of barbarian (mbd)
barbarian (Gk.)--foreign; strange ignorant; rude; brutal (Acts 28:2).
Meta. Barbarians symbolize the unillumined, uncultivated thoughts of man. They judge by man's law because they do not understand spiritual law. They are foreign to Spirit, and are totally lacking in true Christian love and refinement.
