Metaphysical meaning of Huppah (mbd)
Huppah, hup'-pah (Heb.)--covering; protection; veil; canopy; curtain; covert; sanctuary.
A priest in David's reign, on whom the lot fell for the thirteenth course in the Temple service (I Chron. 24:13).
Meta. The spiritual clothing (a covering) and defense, refuge, preservation, protection, that love (David) and true religious ideals (priests) are to the consciousness of man.
