Metaphysical meaning of Ashvath (mbd)
Ashvath, ash'-vath (Heb.)--forged; labored; smoothed; wrought; bright; polished; shining; thinking; purposing.

Son of Japhlet and descendant of Asher, Jacob's son (I Chron. 7:33).

Meta. Ashvath suggests the process by which man brings the wholeness and perfection of Spirit into expression in his mind, body, and affairs. Realization and manifestation of completeness are not accomplished in an instant, nor by one great faith step. Moment by moment, day after day, and year after year one must work patiently, faithfully, and understandingly toward the goal of Christlikeness. This perfecting work is emphasized in the meaning of Ashvath (forged, labored, wrought, smoothed; polished, bright, shining, thinking, purposing), also in many Bible texts, such as Malachi 3:1-3; Philippians 3:12-14;Corinthians 9:24, 25, and Isaiah 28:10. "But the path of the righteous is as the dawning light,That shineth more and more unto the perfect day."(Prov. 4:18.)
