Metaphysical meaning of Hazar-enan (mbd)
Hazar-enan, ha'-zär-e'-nan (Heb.)--village of fountains; court of the fountains; inclosure of natural springs.

A place on the north border of the land of Canaan (Num. 34:9).

Meta. An abundant overflow of life (village of fountains) reaching to the objective, intellectual consciousness of the individual who accepts this spiritual life flow (the north means above, and refers to the highest thoughts of the intellectual or objective consciousness). Court and inclosure, of the fountains, suggest the confinement of the cleansing, renewing, vitalizing activities of the divine life to the human organism of man. The purpose of this would be the uplifting and redemption of the individual.
