Susi, su'-si (Heb.)--leaping; bounding; springing; swiftly lying; horseman; swallow (so called from its swift and cheerful flight); Jah is swift; rejoicing of Jehovah.
Father of Gaddi. Gaddi was the man chosen from the tribe of Manasseh to help spy out the land of Canaan preparatory to the Israelites' going over and possessing it (Num. 13:11). Meta.
