Metaphysical meaning of Shashai (mbd)
Shashai, sha'-shai (Heb.)--whiteness; fine white linen; noble; free; harmonious; proportional measure; mastery; over coming.

A son or descendant of Bani. He had married a foreign woman after the return from the Babylonian captivity, but put her away at the command of Ezra (Ezra 10:40).

Meta. The thought of overcoming, with its results, is borne out in this name. "He that overcometh shall . . . be arrayed in white garments"; "They shall walk with me in white; for they are worthy"; "The fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints."
