Metaphysical meaning of Chislon (mbd)
Chislon, ch;s'-lon (Heb.)--strength; hope; confidence; trust. This name comes from the same root as Chesalon.
Father of Elidad, who was chosen from the tribe of Benjamin as one of the men who were to decide as to the division of the land of Canaan among the Israelites (Num. 34:21).
Meta. Strength and confidence established in faith (strength, hope, confidence, trust; a Benjamite). The hope of man's full redemption must be based upon God before man can enter in and take possession of his Promised Land (the consciousness and the body), and before he can utilize all his inner forces and powers in a right and wise manner.
