Metaphysical meaning of Ammishaddai (mbd)
Ammishaddai, am-mi-shad'-dai (Heb.) --people of the Almighty; people of Providence; my kinsman is the Almighty.
Father of Ahiezer. Jehovah chose Ahiezer, through Moses, to be leader of the tribe of Dan at the time of the numbering of the Israelites in the wilderness (Num. 1: 12) .
Meta. The efficiency and the power of which man becomes conscious when he recognizes his unity with omnipotent God (people of the Almighty, my kinsman is the Almighty); also the assurance of divine oversight and supply (people of Providence) .
