Metaphysical meaning of Mattattah (mbd)

Metaphysical meaning of Mattattah (mbd)
Mattattah (A.V., Mattathah), mat'-tat-tah (Heb.)--gift of Jehovah, gratuity of Jah; given wholly unto Jehovah.

An Israelite, son of Hashum. He had taken a foreign wife, but put her away at the injunction of Ezra (Ezra 10:33).

Meta. A thought in the higher consciousness of man (an Israelite) that perceives the possibilities that man has through his true, or Christ, self--I AM, Jehovah. This thought is learning the necessity of eliminating all error and limitations of the soul in order to make these high attainments (he put away his foreign wife at the instigation of Ezra) and gain eternal life, which in its fullness is for the whole man--spirit, soul, and body.
