Metaphysical meaning of Heleb (mbd)

Metaphysical meaning of Heleb (mbd)
Heleb, he'-leb (Heb.)--fat; fertile; fruitful; rich; the finest.

Son of Baanah the Netophathite; one of David's guard (II Sam. 23:29). In I Chronicles 11:30, Heled.

Meta. Abundant substance (fat, fertile, rich) in essence, or ideal (Netophathite). This rich substance is spiritual. In Heled (see HELED), however, the subtle, worldly belief (slippery, crafty, fleeting) in the transitoriness of all things is actively expressing itself. This belief will bring about age, decay, lack, and disintegration instead of eternal life and abiding plenty; it must therefore be put away before the individual can come consciously into his true inheritance.
