Metaphysical meaning of Tychicus (mbd)
Tychicus, tych'-i-cus (Gk.)--casualty; fortuitous; fortunate; fateful; fate; chance.
A Christian, and a fellow worker of Paul's, "faithful minister" (Eph. 6:21).
Meta. A belief in fate (fortuitous, fateful, chance, fortunate). Converted to Christian faith, this belief would take on a strong assurance of good as being ever present and demonstrable. One who learns the divine law is not subject to fate. He makes his own destiny by his use of divine law.
