Metaphysical meaning of Moadiah (mbd)

Metaphysical meaning of Moadiah (mbd)
Moadiah, mo-a-dl'-ah (Heb.) appointed time of Jehovah- festival of Jah; ornament of Jehovah.

A priest of Israel, mentioned among those who returned from the Captivity (Neh. 12:17). He is thought to be the same as Maadiah of the 5th verse.

Meta. See MAADIAH and MAADAI.

In the meaning of Moadiah the thought of feasting is emphasized (festival of Jah). A feast in the Scriptures is always symbolical of eating, or affirming, meditating on, and realizing, divine substance, spiritual ideas, words of Truth. The appointed time of Jehovah is whenever the individual unfolds to the place where he is ready for the next step forward, the next degree of realization and demonstration.
