Metaphysical meaning of Maonites (mbd)
Maonites, ma'-on-ites (fr. Heb.)--of or belonging to Maon.
Mentioned with the Sidonians and the Amalekites as a people that oppressed Israel (Judg. 10:12). They are thought to be the same people as the Meunim of II Chronicles 26:7.
