Metaphysical meaning of Kir-heres (mbd)
Kir-heres (in A. V., Isaiah 16:11, Kir-haresh), kir-he'-res (Heb.)--pottery wall; brick fortress.
The same place as Kir of Moab and Kir-hareseth (Jer. 48:31, 36).
Meta. The significance is similar to that of KIR and KIR--HARESETH, which see. "Brick" and "pottery," in the meaning of Kir-heres and Kir-hareseth, bespeak something artificial, something that is put together, made by the outer personal man, and not real.
