Metaphysical meaning of Harodite (mbd)

Metaphysical meaning of Harodite (mbd)
Harodite, ha'-rod-lte (fr. Heb.)--of or belonging to Harod.

Two of David's warriors were Harodites (II Sam. 23:25); there must have been a town named Harod in connection with the spring of Harod.

Meta. A thought belonging to the Harod consciousness in man. (See HAROD.) Shammah the Harodite bespeaks the desolation and destruction of fear, and Elika the Harodite symbolizes the elimination of fear. These two, therefore, do much toward keeping the ruling power of love (David) established in consciousness.
