Metaphysical meaning of Beth-haran (mbd)
Beth-haran, beth-ha'-ran (Heb.)--house of might; house of strength; place of overcoming, i. e., getting the upper hand. This can refer to the domination of either good or ill.

A fortified city that was built by the Israelitish tribe of Gad, beyond the Jordan (Num. 32:36). It is thought to be the same city as Beth-haram.

Meta. A strong, dominating, conquering phase of thought (house of might, house of strength, place of overcoming, i. e., getting the upper hand).
