That will open a box where you can change Subscribe/Unsubscribe to the Fillmore Events Newsletter and other newsletters we send out. – Mark

Discover the True Meaning of The Only Begotten Son

Dara Bermick, LUT

What and Who is the “Only Begotten of the Father”, as Understood By Charles Fillmore?

This class is an extensive discussion of the true meaning of the phrase the only begotten Son. Was there only one Son, or might this refer to the divine potential within all men and women? We will explore what is likely our most distinctive claim, that humanity may also be understood as the begotten Son because each person contains within them the indwelling Christ, the divine image and likeness of God. Jesus fully expressed this Christ nature and demonstrated what is possible for all people. So can we. As children of God, we are created from Divine Substance and possess the potential to awaken and express our innate divinity.

Here are some things we will explore. The Son is not bound by time, for His kingdom, like that of God, endures “for ever and ever” (Hebrews 1:8). Neither is the Son limited in knowledge, because the fullness of the Divine nature resides within Him. Human beings may draw upon the light of intelligence inherent in their true Self—the Son of God—to gain whatever understanding is needed for expression in every circumstance of life.

Here is why these things are important. When we come to realize our own Divinity, as taught by Jesus Christ, we begin to discover the true meaning and purpose of our existence. Life’s purpose becomes clearer, and we gain a deeper understanding of who we are as spiritual beings. As we awaken to this Truth, we recognize the divine powers within us and learn how to use them wisely. We understand that by changing our thoughts and beliefs, we can transform our outer lives. As consciousness changes, our experiences, relationships, and circumstances begin to reflect the divine reality within us.
