Metaphysical meaning of Shama (mbd)
Shama, sha'-må (Heb.)--hearing; hearkening; obedient; dutiful; understanding.
Son of Hotham the Aroerite, and one of David's mighty men (I Chron. 11:44).
Meta. An obedient attitude of mind, one attentive to the higher things of Spirit (obedient, hearing, dutiful, an Israelite).
