Libni, lib'-ni (Heb.)--whiteness; purity; distinguished; unto the son mine; for building up.

a Son of Gershon, who was a son of Levi (Exod. 6:17). b A grandson of Merari, son of Levi (I Chron. 6:29). These two men are thought to be the same person, some error having been made in I Chron. 6:29.

Meta. Constructive thoughts (for building up), in the love consciousness (descendants of Levi) of the awakening individual, that are distinguished by their purity, whiteness, by their being unadulterated by personal, limited, carnal, and material ideas.
