Lorraine Allen Ordained 1988

Lorraine Allen is an African-American Unity minister who was ordained in 1988. In September 2021 we received an update from Rev. Diana McDaniel, Senior Minister at Unity of San Leandro. Rev. Diana writes, "Lorraine Allen changed her name to Ekua JaLen. I visited with her before the pandemic. She is in a nursing home diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimer’s. Her 2 daughters And her grandson live in Oakland. She served at Unity of San Leandro for about six months around 1993. I’m not sure where she served after that but UWM might know. I arrived in December 1998 at Unity of San Leandro. She loved teaching classes and was a superb teacher. I was very appreciative and asked her to teach as often as possible and she specialized in giving Sunday messages on forgiveness."

I invite anyone who is related to Rev. Lorraine Allen or who has any information about her to post a comment to this page or to contact me at mark@truthunity.net.
