Tidal, ti'-dal (Heb.)--splendor; renown; veneration; awe; fear.

King of Goiim. He joined Chedorlaomer, king of Elam, in battle against the five kings of the plain, in the vale of Siddim (Gen. 14:1, 9).

Meta. The very large and prominent place (splendor, renown, veneration) that sensuality has in the sense, material, and carnal states of consciousness that belong to the outer, animal man; also the fearfulness that results from sense expression (fear). (See GOIIM and CHEDORLAOMER.)
