Metaphysical meaning of Shaveh (mbd)
Shaveh, sha'-veh (Heb.)--compared; likened; equalized; placed in order; composed; calm; balanced; harmonious; plain; level; even.

A valley in Palestine, near Jerusalem, or Salem (Gen. 14:17); also called the "King's Vale."

Meta. An equalization of the thoughts, forces, and powers in the organism--a re-establishment on a true basis: poise, peace, equilibrium, wholeness. Shaveh (plain, level, even, equalized, balanced, placed in order, composed, calm) was the place near Jerusalem where Melchizedek, king of Salem, and the king of Sodom, met Abraham on his return from the slaughter of the kings who had taken Lot captive. (Melchizedek was priest of God, and he brought forth bread and wine, and blessed Abraham.) In the Shaveh thought the organism is built up in renewed substance and life, and peace is restored to the whole man.
