Zabbai, zab'–bai (Heb.)--washed; cleansed; clean; clear; limpid; pure; innocent.

a One of the sons of Bebai. He had taken a foreign wife, but agreed to give her up when his error was made clear to him by Ezra (Ezra 10 :28). b The father of a Jewish man named Baruch, who helped to repair the wall of Jerusalem after the return from the Babylonian captivity (Neh. 3:20).
