Lakkum (A. V., Lakum), lak'-kum--(Heb.)--stopping up; barring- barrier for rising against; for rising in defense, for firmness; for establishing; fortification; castle; defense.

A place on the border of Naphtali (Josh. 19:33).

Meta. Defensive, protective thoughts (stopping up, barring, barrier, defense); also firmness of purpose (for firmness, for establishing). These become a fortification, a defense, a stronghold, to protect one's strength (Naphtali--the faculty of strength in individual consciousness) from invasion by error beliefs of weakness, and to keep it alive and active.
