Metaphysical meaning of Arza (mbd)

Metaphysical meaning of Arza (mbd)
Arza, ar'-zå (Heb.)--earth; land; domain; firm; low; inferior; terminated.

A man who was over King Elah's household in Tirzah (I Kings 16:9).

Meta. That phase of man's thought which predominates when the will (king) allows the individual to give himself over to the appetites and desires of the flesh (earth; low; inferior; terminated; the king was "drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza" when he was slain). Giving up entirely to carnal appetites and desires leads to a breaking up of the whole consciousness: Elah the king and all his relatives and friends were killed.
