Metaphysical meaning of Kerioth (mbd)
Kerioth (in A. V., Amos 2:2, Kirioth), ke'-ri-oth (Heb.)--meetings; conjunctions; cities; hamlets; buildings; communities; congregations.
A city of Moab that Jeremiah named in his prophecies of the overthrow of Moab (Jer. 48:41). Amos also prophesied against this place (Amos 2:2).
Meta. Groups of thoughts (meetings, conjunctions, cities, hamlets), with their corresponding thought forms (buildings), belonging to and active in the Moab or carnal consciousness in the individual.
