Metaphysical meaning of Chelub (mbd)
Chelub, che'-lub (Heb.)--a trap cage; a bird cage; a basket.

a A man of Judah, brother of Shuhah and father of Mehir (I Chron. 4:11). b The father of Ezri, who was "over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground," in David's reign (I Chron. 27: 26).

Meta. A degree of executive power attained through praise (a man of Judah who had charge of the field laborers in David's reign). This consciousness of executive power is somewhat limited by narrow personal beliefs, but is seeking freer, fuller expression (a trap cage, a bird cage, a basket, with the thought of the sound of clapping and flapping).
