Metaphysical meaning of Ahihud (mbd)
Ahihud, a-hi'-hud (Heb.)--brother of majesty; brother of honor; brother of renown.

a A prince of the tribe of Asher; he helped in dividing the Promised Land among the twelve tribes of Israel (Num. 34:27). b One of the heads of the family of Ehud (I Chron. 8:7). Meta. The exaltation of joy, and its unifying power (brother of honor, majesty, renown; a prince of Asher, Asher meaning happy).

The Ahihud of I Chronicles 8:7 was of the tribe of Benjamin, and was one of the heads of the family of Ehud. This name is different in the Hebrew from the other Ahihud. It means brother of mystery; brother of a riddle, i. e., mysterious. This Ahihud symbolizes the working of faith (Benjamin), which is a mystery to the consciousness that has not been awakened spiritually.
