Utterli is a free, Internet based service that plays short voice recordings on your web browser. You make the recordings from your telephone by calling a specific number and entering an ID. Why do this? It is your opportunity to add a personal touch ... visitors will hear your message in your voice. It's also a nice way to provide a "thought for the day."
If you don't want these sound clips to appear on your website, just go on to the next section. We can easily add them later.
To enable Utterli, you'll need an Utterli account for you or your church. When you've set one up, go ahead and record a short message. Then, make sure you're logged in to Utterli and then go to Apps & Widgets > Widgets> Utterli Widget > Utterli Sidebar and then enter the following:
- Color: Yellow
- Which utters: mine
- Group: (leave blank)
- How many: 10
- Tagged: (leave blank)
- Play automatically: (I recommend you leave it unchecked)
- What order: latest to oldest
- URL: (enter your URL if you have it and wish, but it's not necessary)
Text will then appear in a box labeled "Player HTML". Copy this text and place it in your email to me.
