Your website is designed so that the content on the front page is frequently updated. It is similar to a blog in that new entries appear at the top and are shifted down as new entries are posted. Here are some things to note about the content of the front page:

• You can designate one entry to "remain at the top" so that later entries never shift its position.
• Entries can include video and photos as well as text. It is here that you will post content that would typically go in a newsletter.
• Entries can be clipped so that only the first few lines appear, requiring the user to click "read more."
• You can choose to allow anonymous users to add comments, you can prohibit comments and you can choose to have comments go into a queue for your review before they are posted. Let me know how you wish it configured.
• All entries, including comments, are protected by a service that makes sure it's a live human being (not a computer robot) making the entry. This is an effective anti-spam feature.
• You can allow multiple people to post entries. I'll need the name, email address and password of at least one person who will be Church Editor. Give me additional names and tell me if they should be an editor or just a user (see the Directory section below for more what this means).

• To know what your policy is on adding comments: anyone can post, no one can post, anyone can post but all posts go into a queue for review.
• Something to put in your first entry. Give me a paragraph or two about welcoming people to your new website.
