Unity Digital Media is a vision of:
- the Unity Institute and Library Archives achieving prosperity and growth
- as thousands of Truth students are transformed by listening and watching archival audio and video provided by Unity Institute and Library.
There is a rich store of audio and video resources in the Unity Library about the traditional teachings of Unity. We believe that as these resources are made available via the Internet, Spirit will bless the Unity School with both a rich supply of financial support and a large number of interested Truth students. With this in consciousness, our task is converting audio and video tapes to digital form and rendering them as streaming media. This is our calling as teachers of Truth as taught by the Fillmores.
Why digital media? We all learn in a variety of ways, such as study, reading, discussion, journaling and prayer/reflection. But there is one way that is particularly well suited for delivery over the Internet - that way is listening to audio and watching video. Watching and listening is a right brained activity, it can be fun and it should be enjoyable. Our minds are receptive when they are relaxed.
Why learn the traditional teachings of the Unity movement? Well, why not? Looking back isn't for everyone. But, according to the Gallup organization, many people have the strength of context, which means we look back to understand the present. I hope the recordings you experience here help provide an understanding of how and why Unity has become such a vibrant movement today.
As we give, so do we expect to be supported by Spirit.
What is TruthUnity? This website is just an experiment. The underlying technology of this website is the same as that in development at Unity School (Drupal). Our vision is that all the digital media you see here will one day be available as part of the Unity website. In fact, there is presently an effort underway at Unity School to make these recordings available as part of their website.
What can you do? Keep this vision in your consciousness; expect to see the best of Unity's audio and video available as streaming media on unity.org. Talk it up and see it manifest. Second, make a donation to the Unity School and Archives and tell people at the school that you donated. Finally, help spread awareness about these recordings by linking to us and sharing our website with others.
